Education first. Rescue when guidance isn’t enough.

We are a registered Florida non-profit and federal 501(c)(3) rescue organization. As an education-forward primitive breed focused rescue we help you understand the Shiba Inu breed and make informed rescue decisions without judgment. When rehoming or rescue is the right step, we focus on safe and responsible outcomes for both people and dogs.

SHIBA first but flexible where we can be. While our focus is primarily Shiba Inu dogs, If we have the foster space and resources, we may be able to assist with other breeds in urgent or dire situations. Because we are strictly foster-based, our ability to take in any dog is determined by available foster homes.

What we do

Our primary goal is education. We teach people what it actually means to live with a primitive breed like the Shiba Inu: how they think, what they need, and what effective Shiba training looks like in real life. When people understand the breed up front, they can plan realistically, set their home up for success, and avoid the cycle of mis-homing, abandonment, and surrender. If Shiba Saviors ever becomes mostly education because fewer Shibas need rescue, that is a success. Rescue and rehabilitation still matter when guidance is not enough, but the long-term goal is a Shiba-aware community where fewer dogs ever need saving.
